    We came here for a tour of the bakery with our homeschool group. The owner is so genuine and you can tell she puts a lot of love into this place. All of the staff had a smile on their face and looked very happy to be there. It was so cool to see behind the scenes and learn about all that goes into making so many delicious things! I LOVED the savory pastries and was happy to see that they had many gluten free options to take home for my husband. It’s a very welcoming and cozy place and we will definitely be back!

    Salty Roan Bakehouse did it again.. I am always so blown away by Jolyn. Last year she did our daughter’s cake (Fairy First Birthday) and we loved it so much we decided to go through her again. As always, it did not disappoint. She made our daughters smash cake for a photo shoot and did a “half moon” cake for her actual (Two the Moon) birthday. Not only did they look so cute, but tastes amazing as well! If you’re looking for great tasting custom birthday cakes, I highly suggest this place!

    This is the best bakery I have been to hands down. Their breakfast sandwiches are exquisite. Their scones are tasty, the cookies are delectable and their bread loaves are awesome. They have desserts available to go. It’s definitely a must try here in Abilene.

    I’m pretty picky about pastries. I haven’t tried anything I do not love here. The almond croissant is probably my fav! Abilene is so blessed to have this place!

    Amazing pastries! Staff is very nice and helpful. It is a very pricey place though so be prepared for that. About $5 @ least for each item.
